Teddy Hardeen and his excellent staff worked tirelessly on our house purchase for more than a year-and-a-half after the sellers son went to court to have her declared incompetent. After all that time and work, it ended successfully this past January. He increased our loan to mostly eliminate the down payment his own initiative, a move he discussed with us prior to doing it. It increased the monthly payment slightly, but left us with more cash to make improvements to the house after the purchase. I'd recommend Teddy and Alpha Mortgage to anyone, anytime.

Teddy has been on my list of trusted lenders since I started helping people buy homes. He has also been the one I call when other lenders haven't been able to help clients. I recently purchased an older farm home on a plot of land to retire from the military and plant roots here in Eastern North Carolina. This purchase was very complicated because of the type of home, age, and red tape associated with a VA home loan. I knew how to handle the home buying process from the real estate side, but I needed someone I could trust to navigate through the funding side of the deal. Teddy was the one I trusted to help me with getting through financing. He was always calm and collected. He worked around the clock to take care of any issues that needed to be addressed through underwriting and the VA and I truly believe that if it wasn't for him and his crew, I wouldn't have made it to closing on this particular house. I've always been happy with him when he has worked with my clients and I would say that he would be one of the first lenders I would choose for myself. Now, I can say he was my lender of choice for my own property and I have even more confidence in his abilities because of the complications we had on this home purchase and we were still able to make it to closing.

Teddy made the process of buying our first home enjoyable. He answered all of my questions and was always there when something came up out of the blue! He never stops working and never makes you feel like a problem. This is a stressful time, but having someone like him in your corner really makes it easier to ask questions.
